A Tory MP has sparked controversy after he stated Nusrat Ghani’s declare that she was sacked as a junior minister as considerations had been raised about her Muslim religion “stinks”.
Michael Fabricant stated the timing of her declare was “very suspicious”, and instructed it was linked to strikes to do away with Boris Johnson over the Downing Road lockdown events scandal.
He stated Ms Ghani was not “clearly” a Muslim, and it was “lame” to assert that was the rationale she was fired as a transport minster in a reshuffle in 2020.
