Stars pay tribute to US director Peter Bogdanovich after his demise at 82

Laura Dern Cher and Barbra Streisand have led tributes to “buddy and trainer” Peter Bogdanovich who has died aged 82.

The US director, recognized for movies comparable to The Final Image Present and Paper Moon, died of pure causes on Thursday morning at his dwelling in Los Angeles, his daughter Antonia Bogdanovich stated.

Bogdanovich was born in Kingston, New York, in 1939, and began out as a movie journalist and critic earlier than transferring on to film-making.
