The Duke of York has demanded a trial by jury within the civil intercourse case introduced towards him by Virginia Giuffre.
Ms Giuffre, also called Virginia Roberts alleges Prince Andrew sexually assaulted her in three completely different places between 2000 and 2002.
The duke submitted 11 explanation why the case needs to be dismissed, together with that Ms Giuffre’s claims are “barred by the doctrine of consent” and by “her personal wrongful conduct”.
Within the court docket doc which communicated his causes for requesting a dismissal of the case, Andrew’s legal professionals concluded: “Prince Andrew hereby calls for a trial by jury on all causes of motion asserted in theComplaint.”
