Camilla to guest-edit Nation Life for her seventy fifth birthday

The Duchess of Cornwall will be part of Nation Life journal as its third royal visitor editor for the launch of a difficulty commemorating its one hundred and twenty fifth anniversary.

Camilla will edit the journal’s particular version, to be revealed on July 13, only a few days earlier than her seventy fifth birthday on July 17, with the royal version specializing in the duchess’ love of horses and canines.

She has two rescue Jack Russell terriers and is a patron of Battersea Cats and Canines’ Residence.

The version will give attention to the duchess’ work as a patron of greater than 90 charities, together with Barnardo’s and the Royal Society of Literature.

She may even reveal her chosen champions of the countryside, her most beloved rural view and her favorite recipe.

The collectors’ difficulty shall be a part of a year-long celebration of the award-winning journal’s historical past and its function in highlighting the countryside and rural life for over a century.

The duchess’s version would be the fourth time that the journal has been guest-edited by a royal.

The Prince of Wales has twice guest-edited Nation Life, firstly for his sixty fifth birthday in November 2013, after which for his seventieth in 2018, the most important promoting difficulty of all time.

In 2020, the Princess Royal guest-edited the July 29 difficulty – one other bestseller – for her seventieth birthday.

Mark Hedges, editor of Nation Life journal, mentioned: “It’s a nice honour that the Duchess of Cornwall has agreed to guest-edit Nation Life in July.

“Her Royal Highness is a passionate countrywoman and we’re delighted that she follows her husband in presiding over this commemorative version.”

Tom Parker Bowles, the duchess’s son, and a longstanding contributor to the journal, mentioned: “As a columnist for Nation Life, I’m delighted my mom shall be guest-editing a particular difficulty.

“However somewhat hoping she gained’t attempt to muck about with my copy.”
