Amaan Isa, 28, was not carrying his glasses when he ploughed into 80-year-old Irshad Begum as she tried to cross a highway close to her dwelling in Birmingham.
The grandmother suffered deadly accidents following the crash in Washwood Heath Street on 5 April.
