A21 crash: Paramedic killed as ambulance collides with cement lorry in Kent

A feminine paramedic has died after a crash between an ambulance and a cement truck.

Three members of workers have been travelling within the ambulance when the collision occurred on the A21 close to Tonbridge, in Kent, on Wednesday night. They weren’t transporting a affected person on the time.

A male paramedic suffered critical accidents and a pupil sustained a head damage. The lorry driver suffered minor accidents.

South East Coast Ambulance Service NHS Basis Belief (Secamb) stated: “A number of crews attended the scene, together with the air ambulance service alongside police and fireplace service colleagues.

Emma Williams, Secamb’s govt director of operations, added: “We’re deeply saddened by the lack of our colleague and our heart-felt sympathies go to her household, buddies and colleagues at this very tough time.

Kent Police is interesting for anybody who witnessed the crash or has dashcam footage to return ahead.

“Officers from the Severe Collision Investigation Unit have commenced an investigation and are asking anybody with dashcam footage previous to the incident to return ahead.
