David Frost manufacturers Covid lockdowns a ‘severe mistake’ and says No 10 didn’t ‘problem’ scientists

David Frost has branded Covid lockdowns a “severe mistake”, stepping up his criticism of the beleaguered Boris Johnson as he fights to remain in workplace.

The previous Brexit minister – who resigned final month – mentioned there have been too few voices “difficult the epidemiologists”, calling mask-wearing and Covid passes “stuff that doesn’t work”.

Lord Frost additionally criticised the drive to attain ‘internet zero’ carbon emissions, saying: “We’re speeding at some of these things. We’re bringing in measures which might be type of pointless, too quickly.”
